Please consider my offer to convey ownership of this unique, beautiful, and great sounding Gretsch “Prototype” 3.5” x 14” Piccolo Snare Drum, together with an SKB hard case. I purchased this extremely unique Snare Drum from the late Jeff Lee, the owner of the venerable ‘Resurrection Drums’ in Hollywood, Florida. Jeff informed me that this Snare was a 'prototype' that Gretsch was considering producing at the time, and is one (1) of only two (2) of its kind that Gretsch ultimately produced. This Snare features brass plated hardware and a unique Snare strainer and butt plate. Of course, much of the information I am relying on in this offer is admittedly hearsay (Jeff is deceased so I cannot confirm with him), so, unfortunately, I am unable to verify or otherwise confirm the accuracy and/or veracity of what Jeff told me when I purchased this Snare. I was also informed that the shell is maple, but I am not sure of the finish veneer. I have owned and performed with this lovely Snare Drum since 2018, which has always been kept in an air conditioned, smoke-free environment. Please note: the Yamaha SS-950 snare stand pictured in the photos is not part of the offer, but may be purchased separately for an additional cost.
