2000 Gibson Les Paul Standard - Limited Edition Millennium Series in White Diamond Sparkle. This is a very rare find. Not exactly sure, but I have read as few as 50 of these were made in one of 3 colors...I have found more Red Sparkle on the market, but RARELY see the White Diamond Sparkle.
She is all original...with the exception of Duncan JB/59s which I installed myself. The 498T/490R combo was stock with this guitar. IMO, the Duncans FAR FAR out perform the stock Gibsons anyway....so this is a solid upgrade.
There is a bit of wear on the headstock. Not sure from what...but it is there. Some normal wear on the back of the guitar as expected from a 26 year old instrument...but...the guitar is amazing: set up perfectly and plays like a dream.
The thing I really like about this guitar is the "satin" type finish on the top. The finish sparkles so well (as I added extra photos to show) but the guitar resonates really well because of this.
Side note, it may appear in the images that the top of the guitar has some discoloring...I assure you that is a shadow...and I simply couldn't capture a great photo of the sparkle finish in low light...where there wouldn't be shadows...but again...NO discoloration on the top/finish!
