Fender Strat and Unusual Finish Fans Both…. STEP ON UP!!
This 89 American Standard is still VERY clean and crisp from an eye catching aspect AND overall condition term. The pickguard shows a bit of wear at the bottom between the bridge pickup and bridge. It had a Fishman TriplePlay Pro installed at one point and will come with!! Nothing horrible, but there..and the Fishman is a nice little $ saver and a cool add on.

The FINISH… man, can we talk about the absolute “60’s Fender’y Vibe” this Gun Metal Blue is throwing off or what???? The pics are showing a bit more Sherwood Green.. but it’s Bluer in person. Tell you what folks, y’all know I’m a Thumper.. and if this were “My P-bass or Jazz” I’m telling you right here… it would have a Mint Green celluloid guard NOW!! lol

The overall condition is still amazing for a 35+yr old axe.. some minor normal scuffs and dings, nothing down to the wood or uber noticeable even. Frets are still boss, no groves or need for attention. Action is good, feels smooth and easy. No dead frets, trust rod has room and this Strat will be glad to be around another 35 years… no doubt.

It hangs even over the shoulder with good balance.. not neck heavy or uneven. Weighing in at 7.6lbs on my digital RR scale.. it’s back friendly and yet another killer 60’s aspect… light and resonant from tip to bottom.. rings true for days!!

It comes housed in its original Fender USA black molded case, with two tremolo bars some Fender quality check orange paperwork and that cool little Fishman TriplePlay Pro..
