Reverend MRC-BKSP-RM-G-PRCH-HT Mercalli 4-String Bass Guitar, Black Sparkle

Big, deep and punchy with excellent clarity is the calling card of Reverend's Mercalli 4 Bass. The innovative passive pickups have that vintage warmth, with high-end appointments like the five-piece neck and high mass bridge the Mercalli delivers modern punch and sustain!

The sturdy, lightweight construction and rich, resonant Korina Body mixed with the Thick Brick and Split Brick pickups, will make the Reverend Mercalli your new favorite Bass.

Custom Pickups

Reverend designs their own proprietary custom pickups, to achieve the best tonal match with their instruments. Reverend pickups are also specifically designed for each position, for balanced volume and tone when switching.

Five-Piece Roasted Maple Neck

Roasted Maple is heat treated at over 300* F to remove sugars, moisture, and impurities. This maple is lighter, more stable, and has a beautiful caramel color. Combined with five-piece construction, the result is a neck that requires less seasonal adjustment, and boasts a rich vintage look!

Korina Body

Korina (aka White Limba) is a medium-light weight wood, highly prized for consistency and tonal qualities. Often found in boutique and vintage instruments, all Reverends feature Korina bodies. A highly resonant wood, Korina is a key factor to producing lively, responsive instruments that are rich in harmonics.
