The 76A "Blue Stripe" Rev A FET Compressor/Limiter is a zero-compromise recreation of the legendary UREI “Blue Stripe” 1176 Revision A compressor from the 1960s. Built with authentic, period-correct NOS transistors, carbon composition resistors, and Cinemag’s spot-on copy of the original UTC O-12 input transformer, the 76A is as close to an original “Rev A” unit as you can find on the market today.
The 76A Deluxe Edition preserves the core Rev A circuit, but adds a few modern features, including a dry/wet blend knob, variable sidechain high-pass filter (HPF), stereo link option, and an upgraded power supply. We’ve also added a “secret mod” allowing for a wider range of attack times, making this famously fast circuit even more versatile.
