If these look familiar to a number of the big names in audio, that's because they ARE the same thing.. made up on Minnesota (hint) , these are USA made

No fancy boxes, no 4 color stickers, just plain black appearance but super solid performance and you'll save 80 bucks per pair.

There's a few reasons that I LOVE the way these sound, and the reasons that they are sooo clean..

The woofers have PURE SOLID COPPER windings ( 99.99%) in the voice coils ( NO CCAW /Chyna recycled crap@ 95%)

They have ALUMINUM voice coil formers on the woofers

The woofer cones are weather resistant, and are made of TALC LOADED/ VIRGIN polypropylene , so they won't crack in 5 years, as well as they have an increased inherent dampening ability for ultra clean sound without secondary/ ghost notes

The surrounds are BUTYLENE rubber/ half roll high compliance/ high excursion, and also absorb any remaining cone resonance issues..

Now, something that you might not think counts..

Speaker frames are usually made of stamped steel baskets, or even aluminum,,,, or even magnesium, in an ATTEMPT to remove the RINGING that frames make ..It's AWFUL and causes DISTORTIONS

if you want to test this- go tap on your current speaker frame with something metal, and listen to that RINGING...

THAT gets right back into the speakers moving parts, and is RE RADIATED back into the air... You can call that distortion..

Welp, these happen to be engineered to use a polymer chassis, and they actually hold up better, because they can barely flex instead of denting or causing your coils to go out of alignment and need replaced or re-coned due to coil rubbing/ buzzing..

These frames have virtually ZERO reflected sound getting back into the cones and causing a bell effect.. Nice clean, dry sound with these frames.

Put these on a spectral decay measurement and you'll be astounded..

tweeters are a polymer film type, and have a crossover capacitor up under the tweeter itself..

response is an ACTUAL 60-18.5 Khz!( +/- 3dB!) 60 watts each..

So, take the polymer chassis, load it with quality voice coils, have those moving that talc loaded cone, and then suspend it with a butylene rubber surround, and that pretty much covers all of the bases..

yes, there ARE better speakers out there.,..... at 8 times the cost, but for the price I got this skid at, I'm blowing them out in bulk packaging and bulk pricing , so you guys get a heck of a savings..
