Professionally restored 1917 Steinway & Sons Model A grand piano (6'2"), serial number 189695, built at the New York factory during Steinway's celebrated "golden era" of craftsmanship.
Comprehensive restoration completed in 2025 by Bill Rogers of The Piano Mover Inc. (NY), including: complete restringing with new tuning pins, soundboard repair and bridge restoration, full action overhaul regulated to factory specs, damper restoration, exterior case refinished in satin ebony, and final tuning to A-440 concert pitch. Total restoration cost: $18,000.
The piano plays beautifully with a warm, rich tone and responsive touch. Includes matching black tufted leather bench. Located in Los Angeles — buyer arranges shipping.
