A very early, handmade model from master luthier Ryoji Matsuoka! Matsuoka is one of the most famous Japanese classical guitar builders and most of his guitars were produced in the 1970’s and 80’s when he was running a workshop. This guitar would have been built by Matsuoka himself and it bears his personal stamp on the Japanese language label. Features a solid top, mahogany neck, and Brazilian rosewood fretboard (no export). It has 7 fan braces.
There are two dings in the top that have been drop filled, leveled and polished. One string burn behind the bridge. The frets have been polished and the fretboard conditioned. The tuners have some light rust and appear original, fully functional. New strings installed.
Case: vintage hard case, solid but has some vinyl peeling.
