Offered is an incredibly rare instrument, a Harmony Roy Smeck Mando-Banjo or 8-String Tenor Banjo, USA-made, likely in the 60s. Appears to be very lightly used an in excellent condition, but listed as non-functioning due to a split in the skin. I'm not an expert but it appears to be a standard 11" head, so may well be an easy fix.

The history of this rare instrument is lost but it's in great visual shape and with apparently the original chip case. This is on consignment and we are open to reasonable offers.

Due to the nature of the sale, my lack of expertise in banjos, and the broken skin rendering this instrument presently unplayable, this listing is strictly sold "as-described". Please ask any questions or request additional photographs if you're uncertain about entering into this transaction.
