The KENDO brand was relatively rare outside of Europe and Japan. In the 1970s-1980s, it was one of several Japanese OEM manufacturers producing high-quality cassette decks and Hi-Fi systems, often rebranded for the German and European markets.
Because of its limited distribution, KENDO decks are now considered rare and collectible , sought after by enthusiasts who value unique models beyond mainstream brands like Pioneer, Akai, or Sony.
The KENDO CD11 is a fine example of Japanese craftsmanship — solid, reliable, and designed with the attention to detail typical of the golden era of analog sound.
