The 1983-1984 Fender USA Fullerton Elite Stratocaster was a, premium model designed to modernize the Strat with active electronics, push-button pickup selectors (allowing 7 combinations), and the "Freeflyte" tremolo. It featured active MDX/TBX mid-boost/tone circuits, Schaller locking tuners, and was a predecessor to the Strat Plus and Clapton signature models.

Key Features and Details:

Electronics: Active 9V preamp system with three noiseless single-coil pickups.

Controls: Three on/off push-button switches (one per pickup) instead of a 5-way selector.

Bridge: "Freeflyte" tremolo, a top-loading, knife-edge system with no back springs.

Hardware: Schaller die-cast locking tuners.

Body/Neck: Alder body, maple neck with a 12" radius, often featuring a 4-bolt neck plate with "Micro-Tilt" adjustment.

Production: Made in the USA (Fullerton, CA).

Rarity: High; it was produced for only two years (1983–1984) with very few natural color released before the company was sold.

The original hard case in good shape and is included.
