"The Legion" was named quickly after hearing the tone for the first time, because everyone that hear this will want one, especially my rock and metal Southerners. Hand-wound, with less bass, similar cutting and dark mids, and more treble than the full-sized DSG "The Legion" PAF Humbucker! Super unique, modern sound! Perfect for rock, metal, and experimental genres, this bridge can be pushed into a calmer setting with careful use of the volume knob on the guitar. Cleans up nicely, the big round mids will cut through nearly any mix, and the spicy tone will be remembered. Thicker copper wire is used in the production of this model, which leaves the discrepant 6K ohms reading in this item, I assure you it is closer to a 8.5k ohms (at the very least) of standard wire mini humbucker. This thing is loud, yo, and that's why it is recommended for the bridge position despite the low DC resistance reading.

A traditional mini design wasn't quite doing it as a "Legion" mini, and the double-bladed design is way closer in tone to the full-sized PAF "Legion." There is A LOT of copper on this one and the Alnico 6 magnet (also used in my fastest selling pickup ever "The Route 6.6" p-90) has about twice the amount of output as Alnico 5 of the same reading. It's intense, and it will take some getting used to from the sheer amount of low end, the aggressive mids, and high-end sizzle all at the same time, with the DSG trademark string-to-string clarity and hand-wound warmth.
