The ARC Effects Gamut is Germanium Boost Pedal based on the classic Dallas Rangemaster Treble Booster.
It features a selected, audited, and tuned Germanium Transistor, Paper In Oil Capacitors and Philips Electrolytic Capacitors all housed in a custom folded metal powdercoated enclosure with silk screened graphics.
No expense spared and every component selected for its exceptional quality.
The Gamut expands on the original circuit with the addition of a Range knob which allows you to use the Gamut as the original classic treble booster (Range all the way down) all the way to a full range booster (Range all the way up) with everything in between.
The allows for the precise dialing in of low end frequencies for fattening up single coils and is a Stratocaster or Telecaster lovers dream.
It also features modern conveniences such as True Bypass Switching, DC Power (isolated only), and an internal battery snap.

A more transparent treble booster. I love germanium treble boosters, and I own/have owned quite a few. The Gamut is special because of it's tonal options. It can sound like a Rangemaster (mid boost, attenuated lows), it can be relatively flat, or it can be fat and warm, depending on how you set the controls. It's quiet and has the incredible touch-sensitivity and ability to clean up when the guitar's volume is rolled back, as a treble booster should. I'm using it in front of my OD pedals as a lead boost, and it's just perfect. Easily one of the best, most versatile treble boosters I have ever used.
