Vintage 1974 Marshall Super Bass 100W Guitar Head. Was recently serviced by Long Island Sounds with new JJ EL34 tubes and filter capacitors. The amp has the following modifications:
- Shared/Split V1 Cathode Switch
- 330uF V2 Bypass Capacitor Switch
- .68uF V2 Bypass Capacitor Switch
- Lead/Bass Tone Stack Switch
- Depth Control (Active via Push-Pull Potentiometer on rear panel)
- Volume II Bright Capacitor (Active via Push-Pull Potentiometer on Treble Control)
When all toggle switches are in the down position and push-pull potentiometers are not active, the circuit is a stock 1992 Super Bass. The modifications installed can transform the amp into a 1959 Super Lead when active. Amp is currently biased at 34mA with a plate voltage of 472V. We have also added rivet-nuts to make maintenance on the amp easier in the future. Please message with any questions.
