For sale we have a superb all-original example of the 1993 Hamer USA Diablo in Translucent Red finish with original Hamer USA branded hardshell case. A high-performance American-made super-strat from one of the most respected boutique-level builders of the era. Built during Hamer’s golden period in Arlington Heights, Illinois, the Diablo blends precision craftsmanship with modern rock performance, resulting in an instrument that delivers both vintage build quality and aggressive contemporary tone. This particular example is in very good used condition showing moderate cosmetic wear with fine surface scuffs, scratches, small dings and dents scattered throughout the body from normal use over the years. There is strum wear on the tops of the pickups and in the general strumming area from flat picking. No major blemishes or any wear that goes through the finish. The Floyd Rose shows some light surface wear from normal use. The neck is in great shape with only a handful of very light dents scattered sparsely along the length of the backside. The original frets are present and show just a touch of visible play wear beneath the plain strings across the first seven frets or so, lots of life left in them. The face of the headstock shows lots of fine surface scratches from string changes. Structurally sound with no cracks, breaks or repairs. A fine playing instrument and playing beautifully. Set-up with low action with 9-42 Ernie Ball Slinkys.
