The Ernie Ball Music Man Jason Richardson Artist Series Cutlass electric guitar represents the collaboration between the award-winning EBMM design team and the multitalented virtuoso guitarist and composer Jason Richardson. Featuring innovative design characteristics engineered specifically for Richardson's exacting technique, the Richardson Artist Series Cutlass offers unique features for diving deep into your sound.
The Jason Richardson Cutlass has a translucent alder body with a figured burl top, with either gold or matte black hardware to complement the finish. The double-cutaway body design is balanced and lightweight, allowing comfortable access to all 24 medium-jumbo frets. Additionally, the roasted maple neck is shaped by hand with a shallow carve for fast playability. EBMM custom-wound humbuckers at the bridge and neck pickups offer heavy rhythm tones, and a clear and bright top end for endless soloing. Additional appointments to the Richardson Cutlass include Schaller locking tuners, a custom Music Man floating tremolo, ebony fingerboard and 3-way pickup switch.
