This Tama Superstar Classic Exotix 10" x 8" rack tom in Gloss Sapphire Lacebark Pine is brand new and has never been played. The shell, bearing edges, hoops, hardware, heads, and finish are all clean and in pristine condition. This drum is fresh from the factory and ready to be added to an existing Superstar Classic kit or used as a premium add-on tom.
The Superstar Classic Exotix line combines Tama’s reliable maple shell construction with striking exotic outer veneers. This drum features a 100% maple shell, producing a warm, balanced tone with clear attack and smooth sustain. The 10-inch diameter delivers focused articulation, while the 8-inch depth provides a slightly deeper voice and fuller projection, making it well suited for modern rock, pop, worship, and studio settings.
Tama’s Star-Mount suspension system supports the drum at multiple tension rod points along the shell, allowing the drum to resonate freely while keeping it securely mounted. This design enhances sustain and maintains excellent tuning stability.
The Gloss Sapphire Lacebark Pine finish, part of the Exotix series, features an exotic lacebark pine outer veneer with a rich blue gloss that highlights the natural grain pattern and gives the drum a distinctive visual character.
