Beautiful vintage example from when Fender returned to USA production through their new facility out of Corona California
Fender dates it as late 1987 and possibly early 88. Acquired from a collector some time ago.
Plays and sounds fantastic. Some very nice grain and flaming on the neck. TBX tone control.
Frets are excellent with only a faint sign of use on the 1st and 2nd fret at the B. (pictured) Minimal for an almost 40-year-old guitar.
The case looks to be G&G/ G&G style reproduction of a vintage Fender case with the typical scuff here and there on the outside. Solid, all latches work as they should. Case key is included.
Exceptional example of Fender's reboot in the late 80s setting the "standard" for their ongoing success today.
Thanks so much.
