Nakamichi RX-202

The RX202 is a legendary 2-head, 4-motor auto-reverse cassette deck famous for its UDAR (Uni-Directional Auto Reverse) system, which physically flips the cassette tape over to maintain optimal azimuth and high-fidelity sound.

This unit is just back from our Nakamichi specialist who did some minor component replacement, cleaned, lubed & tested it. See the tech notes below.

• Tested and fully working - see last photo showing the flip function in action.
• VERY little cosmetic wear.
• Recently serviced - Tech notes as follows; "-replaced the belts -cleaned the old lubricants and relub -lubricated the capstan and motor shafts -replaced the PB/REC head relay -adjusted the head azimuth and mechanism's offset -adjusted the speed, W&F 0.050% to 0.060% -cleaned the switches and potentiometers with deoxit -adjusted the electronics for correct levels -tested for 6 hours"
