What we have here is old school King Alto made in Cleveland Oh sometime between 1981-1982. These horns are known for being made of a slightly thicker brass and were built for lasting durability. The thicker brass also helps the instrument more freely and gives the instrument a darker warmer tone, resulting in a student priced instrument that feels and sounds distinctly different than modern student instruments.
