Epiphone Les Paul Custom MKH-7 guitar.
This is a seven-string limited model designed in cooperation with Matthew Heafy from the band Trivium.
The guitar is a clear evolution of the classic Les Paul concept toward heavy, modern playing. The traditional Gibson design was adapted for low tunings and more technical styles.
The instrument has improved ergonomics with a redesigned neck joint, a comfortable SlimTaper D neck profile, and active EMG 707 and EMG 81-7 pickups, known for their clear and precise sound.
The guitar keeps the elegant visual details typical of the Les Paul Custom, such as inlays and binding. At the same time, the black hardware gives it a much more aggressive look. It is one of the most aggressive versions of the Les Paul style on the market. If you like this type of design but want a clearly metal-oriented guitar, this model is definitely worth considering.
The guitar was made in 2013. It is used, fully functional, and in very good condition. It has small cosmetic signs of use only.
An Epiphone hard case is included.
