Up for grabs is a G12 field coil speaker, made by pre Celestion Rola...I went over and through this one completely, and give it a clean bill of health, especially after I installed a new #444 cone, and the H-Dome screen dust cap from Celestion.

It's a field coil driven with paper coil former, a new 444 cone, and new dust cap. .all else is OEM

KILLER TONALITY and fidelity here...

if you want a nice simple to use field coil speaker to try for the first time in your guitar amp, or even for hi fi use, this will provide years of service, as I went over everything when it was disassembled, and I also touched up adhesive bonds so everything is solid..

A great feature with this unit is--- it still has it's bolt in spider assembly, and it's NOT the usual textile dampener spider design, which once installed, you can't realign the coil

NOT SO with this one!

if you ever get coil rub, just loosen the mounting bolts for the inner suspension/spider assembly, re-align and tighten.... it's just that fast and easy to fix a mis aligned coil, where as anything else would require a complete rebuild/ re-cone..

It has a 420 ohm field coil, 8 ohm voice coil and a .1 ohm bucking coil.

Think of it as an ":adjustable tonality" speaker, that by varying voltage, you mix between a mid 60s greenback, and a V30...

Operates properly...

Slap a DC power supply or batteries to it, and drive it with any conventional amp speaker's signal......its just that easy, a speaker that needs 2 wires for signal, and add 2 for DC voltage..
