Pre-order the OME Ikon resonator banjo — the first bluegrass resonator production model from the oldest active banjo manufacturer in the United States.
OME Banjos was established in 1960 by Chuck Ogsbury in Boulder, Colorado. Now produced under Gold Tone Music Group in Titusville, Florida, the Ikon carries that 60+ year legacy forward with a stage-ready instrument built for serious bluegrass players.
At the heart of the Ikon is the JLS (Jim Stull) sand-cast bell-bronze flathead tone ring — a 20-hole design renowned for replicating prewar Mastertone bark. Curly maple neck and resonator with ebony fingerboard featuring art deco mother of pearl and abalone inlays. Rickard Cyclone tuners with 10:1 ratio and tortoise buttons. 3-ply maple rim, brass tension hoop, 24 brackets, nickel hardware. OME harp tailpiece and curly maple armrest.
Estimated delivery late April 2026. Professionally set up by our banjo tech Tara before shipping. Case included. Free shipping within the US.
