This 2007 Gibson 1958 Les Paul Historic reissue R8 is in very good condition, complete with hangtags and COA. This R8 Les Paul has a gorgeous vintage cherry sunburst VOS finish and an excellent example of a '58 maple "plain top" with prominent grain, and a classic, understated appearance. While the guitar is in very clean shape, it does have a few nicks and scratches on the back and bottom of the instrument but overall it is in very good condition. Plays well and sounds great. Articulate and resonant with a balanced acoustic voice, this R8 is a great example of Gibson Custom Shop quality and weighs in at 9.9 lbs. Demonstrative of what quality tonewoods are capable of (and that select cuts of mahogany and maple can be light, resonant, and un-chambered).
