1975 Fender Stratocaster - Natural w/Original Floyd Rose Locking Tremelo.
The Fender Stratocaster has been an icon in the guitar world since its debut in 1954, steadily growing in popularity and influence. This vintage 1975 Stratocaster with a gloss natural finish over a solid ash body. The guitar features a maple neck with a comfortable 1-5/8" nut width. The features of the guitar are all stereotypical '70s Fender specs; the large headstock shape, 3-bolt neck plate and bullet truss rod. The guitar is in very good shape with light dents and dings throughout the body. A fantastic player, exuding plenty of character from years of honest use and has aged gracefully, paired with an Original Floyd Rose Locking Tremolo. It comes complete with its original hardshell case.
A 50+ year old Frankenstein
This Fender Stratocaster body was made in 1975 according to the Neck Plate and also aligns with the 3-way selector switch. The Neck Serial Number dates to 1978/79. Pickups have been replaced with Dimarzio Humbuckers and a Dimarzio PAF single-coil pickup in the middle position.
Micro Tilt 3-Bolt plate
Fender transitioned to the Micro Tilt 3 bolt neck joint during early seventies. These Fender guitars were manufactured in the Fullerton, California factory. Like the previous ranges, the neck plates with serial numbers weren't assigned in exactly sequential order. Fender serial number 669016 on neck plate with large "F" stamp is for 1975.

Floyd Rose Locking Tremolo
Floyd D. Rose invented the locking vibrato in 1976, a specialized double-locking tremolo system for electric guitars that allows for extreme pitch bending—such as "dive bombs"—while maintaining tuning stability. It revolutionized the industry by using a "double-locking" design that clamps the strings at both the nut and the bridge.
- Original: The flagship "100-Series"; highest durability and tuning stability. Hardened Steel, made in Germany / USA
- Double Locking: Strings are locked at the nut and the bridge saddles with Allen screws, preventing them from slipping during heavy whammy bar use.
- Fine Tuners: Because the headstock tuners become inactive once the nut is locked, small "fine tuner" knobs on the bridge allow for precise pitch adjustments.
- Floating Design: The bridge pivots on two posts, allowing the player to push the arm down to slacken strings or pull up to tighten them.
