This Fender ST-62 is a prime example of everything we love about Fujigen-era Strats. A high-quality, MIJ build ca. 1984-1987 this ‘62 reissue Stratocaster has a straight neck with low n’ quick action. The electronics are functioning (3 channel selector) and deliver outstanding tone from the springy, splashy, single coils. I’ve played plenty of Fender Japan and these E serials are always a notch above.
Cosmetically the guitar is in great shape. Small nicks, dings, scratches, scuffs and patina present but overall very clean for age. Super classic in Candy Apple Red with Rosewood board. Included is trem arm and soft case.
Free local pick up from PTD Vintage in Chicago’s Wicker Park neighborhood available and encouraged. Shipping is a flat $115 in the lower 48.
