Personal Thoughts:

The Gary Moore signature Les Paul is one of Gibson’s most iconic artist models from the early 2000s.

Unlike many signature guitars, this one stayed very true to the traditional Les Paul formula — essentially a beautifully figured Lemonburst Standard inspired by Gary’s famous ’59 Les Paul tone machine.

The top on this particular example is fantastic, with a really lively flame that suits the Lemonburst finish perfectly. It’s the sort of top that immediately catches the eye without feeling over the top.

The ’50s-style neck carve gives it that classic Les Paul feel in the hand — solid, comfortable and very resonant. Tonally these guitars are exactly what you’d expect from a great Les Paul: warm, thick and incredibly sustaining, with enough bite to cut through when pushed.

Small touches like the plain truss rod cover and Gary Moore specification make these feel slightly different from a standard production Les Paul of the era.

These have quietly become quite collectible over the years, especially well-preserved examples like this.

Condition Report:

Excellent collector-grade condition. The original pickguard and truss rod cover remain uninstalled and unplayed, and the guitar retains its factory checklist.

Frets are in superb condition, the neck is straight and the electronics function perfectly.
