A rare gem from Tokai’s short-lived Reborn series, the 1980 LS-50 “Reborn Old” stands out for collectors and players alike. Introduced briefly in 1980 before the line transitioned to the Love Rock series, this model was Tokai’s tribute to classic Gibson Les Pauls, specifically the 1958 Les Paul, with meticulous attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.

Condition & Playability:
This instrument is in good vintage condition, showing binding separation at the treble side of the neck near the neck pickup (pictured), which has been stabilized. Other cosmetic wear includes minor chips and dings consistent with a 40+ year-old guitar. Despite its age, the guitar is fully playable, with frets in excellent shape, smooth truss rod adjustment, and a professional setup with low action for comfortable, immediate playability. It’s currently strung with 10-gauge strings in standard tuning.
