Beautiful Manuel Rodríguez e Hijos Model D Rio, handcrafted in Madrid, Spain by the historic Rodríguez workshop (established in 1905).

This instrument features exceptional Brazilian Rosewood (Dalbergia Nigra) back and sides, displaying dramatic, highly figured grain with deep chocolate tones and striking black patterns. The two-piece back shows beautiful symmetry and visual depth rarely seen in Brazilian rosewood guitars.

The guitar has matured for over 20 years, allowing the tonewoods to fully open up and develop a warm, resonant voice.

• Back & sides: Brazilian Rosewood (Dalbergia Nigra)

Tone:

The cedar top produces a warm, responsive and expressive tone with strong basses, clear trebles, and excellent sustain. Brazilian rosewood contributes additional depth, richness and projection.

Condition:

The guitar is in very good condition for its age, showing only a few small cosmetic signs of normal use from daily playing. These minor marks do not affect playability or structural integrity. The Brazilian rosewood back and sides display spectacular natural figuring and a beautiful glossy finish.
