This is a c. 1969 Harmony Rocket 53/1. It is in really good working condition. Cosmetically there are many dings, scratches, etc. that you would associate with normal use over 50+ years. The pickup and electronics work flawlessly. I believe someone did a small amount of restoration work on this before it came into my possession. The nut appears to be new, and it is missing the pickguard. I believe the tailpiece is original, but it is in really good shape and could be aftermarket. The bridge appears to be original, and the knobs are Harmony knobs, even if they were replacements from another Harmony guitar, though I have seen cupcake knobs on this model before. I replaced the tuning machines with Kluson's which are in perfect working order.

The truss rod works as intended, the action is 6/64 at the low E string at the 12th fret (that is where I prefer my action, it can go lower). The neck pocket is clean, and this is a bolt on, so if there's ever any neck angle issues it can always be shimmed. There are no visible cracks, dents, or breaks in the wood of the body, and the back of the guitar is in really immaculate condition. The guitar intonates well considering the rudimentary floating bridge is compensated. I have used this guitar in the studio and at live performances with no issues. This comes with a gator hardshell 335 style case that fits the guitar very well. This is a player's guitar and is ready to use. It may not be collector grade, but it's in really good nick for its age, and is a good one. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
