Offered here is a Fender Custom Shop ’55 Precision Bass Heavy Relic, built in Corona, California and dated 02/27/2024 (Serial #R136034). This bass is a beautifully executed recreation of the earliest Precision Bass era, finished in a classic 2-Tone Sunburst with authentic Custom Shop relic aging that gives it the look and feel of a well-played vintage instrument.

The bass features a maple neck and fingerboard with rich amber tint, a vintage-style single-coil Precision pickup, and period-correct styling that captures the tone and vibe of the original mid-1950s models. The relic work is tastefully done, with natural edge wear, checking, and aging that highlights the grain of the body and the warmth of the maple neck.

The bass is currently fitted with a replacement bridge for improved playability and setup. However, the original Fender Custom Shop bridge is included in the case, so the instrument can easily be returned to completely stock vintage-correct specifications.
