2005 Gretsch 6122-1958 Country Classic — the deep-body '58 reissue from Gretsch's Professional Collection, made in Japan during the pre-Fender-licensing era (before the model was renamed "Country Gentleman" in 2007). This is the single-cutaway variant with the full 2.75" body depth and trestle bracing — a bigger, more resonant guitar than the shallower -59 or -62 models, and the one that serious Gretsch players chase.
Dual High Sensitive Filter'Tron pickups deliver that unmistakable Gretsch tone — warm and articulate clean, with just enough bite when you push it. The Bigsby B6CB vibrato is smooth and returns to pitch. All electronics fully functional, pots are clean with no scratchiness.
