The American Vintage series, launched in 1982, was also discontinued, but many fans eagerly awaited its return. Now, in 2022, it's finally making its return with the American Vintage II 1961 Stratocaster. As its name suggests, this model meticulously recreates the specifications of the 1961 Stratocaster. From the body shape and neck grip to the hardware, every detail has been meticulously recreated.

The 3-Tone Sunburst finish, finished with a soft gradient of gloss nitrocellulose lacquer, truly captures the look of a classic Stratocaster. Another major attraction is the finish, which deepens in appearance over time.

The neck features a 1961 C-shape, modeled after the original 1961 model. Its moderate thickness yet comfortable grip makes it a natural fit for chord work and lead playing. The Stratocaster's characteristically clear tone is enhanced with a slight compression in the midrange, creating a single-coil sound that's both lustrous and compelling.
