*UPDATE* I just noticed a missing tuner ferrule. I will include one with the guitar. See last photo.
Appears to be an early model with the old-style label and metal truss rod cover. It has a very thin top, and almost impossible to tell if it's solid or laminated. Has a big, deep, resonant tap-tone. The specs I found online say it has a rosewood fretboard and mahogany back and sides. However, the fretboard is super dark, almost black like ebony, and the back and sides appear to be rosewood.
The action seems a bit high and may need adjustment. It's got some play wear; mainly pick marks on the top, and a few minor dings. Guitar was cleaned and lightly polished, but could use a good buffing. Otherwise, it's in pretty good shape for a 50-year-old. Includes a hard/soft Gator case in very good condition with a little scuff on the front.
The following information was found on the internet, which may or may not be accurate.
The 1973 Kurosawa Jullian Model No. 250 is a vintage Japanese acoustic guitar produced by Kurosawa Gakki, a respected manufacturer known for crafting high-quality instruments during the 1970s. This model is part of the "Jullian & Co." line, which was marketed under various names such as "Julian by Kurosawa" or "Luthier Kurosawa." The Model 250, also referred to as WD-250, was designed as a Martin D-28 replica, making it a sought-after "lawsuit-era" guitar due to its close resemblance to American-made dreadnoughts.
