Here's a 1969 or possibly 68 Gibson ES-335 TB in factory Sunburst. I say this because there is no volute at the headstock but it could be an early 69. I had bought this 15 years ago as a 1969 so that's what I'm going with here. This is a wonderful player grade guitar with a few changes and repairs that keep it out of top tier pricing. It has been converted to a stoptail at some point in its life but the original trapeze tailpiece is in the case if the new owner ever wanted to swap it back. It looks like someone had also installed an extra switch at some point and after it was removed down the line the hole was filled with some sort of rounded black plastic plug. And lastly, it's had the classic headstock break and repair. This happened on my watch and I can still see the case falling forward and I couldn't get across the room fast enough but I digress.. Being in Nashville, we have some incredible repair folks here and there is not a trace of the prior damage. I've included a black light photo that shows the area and the finish is as smooth as it was when it left the factory.

The guitar has it's original patent sticker pickups and wiring harness, pat. number bridge, knobs, frets and double ring Klusons. The pickguard and bracket are aged replacements from C-Rocker Custom Guitars that complete the look. The guitar comes in a non original but era correct hardshell case.
