This is a 1950 Gibson J45 Acoustic Guitar.

I purchased this guitar from the daughter of the original owner. The gentleman who owned it used it in Alabama for his traveling ministries. The numerous Greyhound bus tickets on the case handle are evidence of that!

The guitar has been freshly serviced and turned out great. This guitar does everything you could ever ask of it.

It has had a large pickguard crack on the top repaired. Tuner buttons have been replaced. It has an extra hole on the neck heel and another by the endpin. A few loose braces repaired, and that's it.

The case, which may be the coolest thing on the planet, is a Lifton case from 1948. Although not an original Gibson case, it has been with the guitar a long time and is also a main character here.
