The Danelectro Cool Cat Drive V2 (CO-2) is a true bypass overdrive pedal designed as an improved version of the V1, often compared to the Fulltone OCD. It features standard volume, tone, and drive controls, plus internal "Lo-Fi" dipswitch and input sensitivity trim pot.
The V2 was released to address feedback on the V1. It includes a "lo-fi" dipswitch (which can add top end) and an internal trimpot to adjust input sensitivity/gain. While the V1 is often considered a more direct, sweeter clone of the OCD, the V2 offers more gain at low settings and greater customization via the internal controls.
