The guitar is in Near Mint / Excellent+ condition. The body, neck, and headstock are virtually flawless.
I have just performed the following maintenance about a month ago:

    • New Strings: Elixir Nanoweb Phosphor Bronze HD Lights (.013 - .053).
    • Conditioning: Ebony fretboard and bridge treated with MusicNomad F-ONE oil.
    • Setup: Strings stretched and tuned for immediate stability.

Taylor 412-R Spec Details:Grand Concert | Desirable "Performance" X-Bracing | Near-MintUp for sale is a stunning 2015 Taylor 412-R Special Edition (Serial #1112035117). This is a unique opportunity to own a USA-made Grand Concert Taylor in incredible condition, featuring "Legacy" specifications highly sought after by enthusiasts and no longer available on new models. The "X-Brace" Advantage (Why This Guitar Is Special)This 2015 model features Taylor's Performance Bracing (a refined traditional X-brace). Built before the universal shift to V-Class architecture, this X-brace allows the soundboard to flex more freely.

  • The Tone: Produces a complex, woody low-end and a natural midrange "growl" that purists seek.
  • The Feel: Because the top isn't restricted, the guitar physically breathes with rich resonance and volume, offering a classic, full-bodied tone rather than the highly controlled, brighter profile of modern Taylors.

Premium Tonewoods & SpecificationsAs a Special Edition, this guitar features premium solid tonewoods and a pure acoustic design (no electronics or cutaways):

  • Body Shape: Grand Concert (Non-cutaway)
  • Scale Length: 24-7/8" (Short Scale for easier playability)
  • Top Wood: Solid Sitka Spruce (Tight, beautiful grain)
  • Back & Side Wood: Solid Indian Rosewood (Dark, rich grain with deep lows and sparkling highs)
  • Fretboard & Bridge: Genuine West African Ebony
  • Neck: Tropical Mahogany
  • Origin: Made in El Cajon, CA, USA

Original Deluxe Case & Accessories:Included is the original Taylor Deluxe Hard-Shell Case (Brown Tolex with Burgundy crushed velvet interior). Please Note (Cosmetic Case Condition):

  • Hardware: The gold plating on the case latches shows minor localized tarnish under some of the latches. This is extremely common for Taylor deluxe cases from the mid-2010s. It confirms the case's age and authenticity. Latches function perfectly.
  • Handle: There is a very small tear in the vinyl covering near the handle’s metal D-ring. The handle remains structurally secure.

Included "Case Candy":

  • Original Taylor Truss Rod Wrench
  • Taylor "Bienvenido" Booklet & String Guide
  • Original (Unregistered) Registration Card
  • Bonus: 1 extra box of Elixir HD Light strings.
