Priced to sell! Beautiful, complete, working Yamaha TX216/816 with 2 TF1 modules. This is an excellent starter kit if you are looking to build your own Tx816! This unit says TX216 on the back but it still supports up to 8 TF1 modules to grow. It also has two working modules and the batteries were just tested. This listing also includes all blank panels installed (only a few missing screws) for front and back and I am also including Rack ears and mounting screws.
Each TF1 module is basically a rack mount DX-7 - a 16-voice, 6-operator digital FM synth engine. So a complete TX816 with all eight TF1 modules would offer up to 128 voices and 48 operators!
Everything works and looks great. There is slight scratching on the top (see photos) but can‘t see when racked anyway and doesnt affect the sound 🙂
I will also be listing some other TX816 parts including screws, some TF1 modules for repair, single and double blank plates, and replacement batteries.
