(1 of 2 listed now!) Working Yamaha TX816 with TF1 module. This is an excellent starter kit if you are looking to build your own! I will have two of these listed with the only major difference being this unit has switchable voltage for US 120 or 240 (It also has a US plug)
Each TF1 module is basically a rack mount DX-7 - a 16-voice, 6-operator digital FM synth engine. So a complete TX816 with all eight TF1 modules would offer up to 128 voices and 48 operators!
Everything works, and looks great. Someone did re spray paint this at one time, not the greatest but can‘t see when racked anyway. Please see outdoor and indoor photos.
I will also be listing some other TX816 parts including screws, some TF1 modules for repair, single and double blank plates, and replacement batteries.
