JoeMeek VC1 Q- works perfect, some rack rash, gorgeous sound.
1960's designed and built in England. Transformer front preamp, to Optical Comp, with EQ and Dess, and Out put Gain fine tune.
VC= Voice Channel but this unit also offers a popular Instrument Input that is more than a DI but the "channel strip" can be used on the DI signal adding compression and eq for bass or guitar.
Amazing piece of British sound from this era. Handbuilt by Ted Fletcher and Inc. Same OEP/CARNHILL transformer as earlier units, same optical for voice or instruments. Switchcraft jacks and more. I hate to sell but I have another money need (and have two of these Im keeping one!)
If you want a true 60's front end in hardware you'll love this piece. They dont make them like this anymore.
