1953 Fender Esquire Blonde serial #4495
This beautiful 1953 Fender Esquire is a lightweight (about 6.7 lbs) super vibrant example of one of the best years of the Esquire. It sounds fantastic. Comes with original strap and purchase receipt, original "ashtray" bridge cover and rare "poodle" case. (Poodle case is in poor condition).
The instrument is completely original, with undisturbed solder joints, except for the wires at the jack. Images show jack wire before and after repair. It is complete of all its original parts, frets and nut. The frets show wear but it plays effortlessly.
The guitar features December 1953 neck and October 1953 body dates. The neck is the classic big soft V shaped style. The pickup shows about 6.6 Ohms. The instrument has one of the rare "golden" logo decals, seldom seen in the early blackguard days, but exclusively on Esquire models.
