I bought this guitar new in June of 2005. Very nice and plays like a dream! I love the neck. It to me is kinda in between a 50’s and 60’s feel. I would consider this guitar kind of a closet classic. It’s always been in my smoke free home. I purchased it after I stopped gigging. I installed a set of Seymour Duncan P-Rails with triple shot rings to top it off. You can get all kinds of cool tones with this setup. Those P90‘s sound awesome! I have the original Gibson Burstbucker 1 and 2 pickups that come with it. I bought new Gibson rings for them because I could not find the originals. To me those pickups were a little dark. But with the P-rails it a beast. On my scales it weighs 9 lbs. I have two torn rotator cuffs right now so it weighs a ton to me. Lololol Really good frets and plays super! It has no major damage just a little crease here and there. You gotta kinda look for them. The neck volume pot has some oxidation on the outside ( I included it in the pics),but no scratching or noise and all pots are smooth. I have more pics but it only allows you to post so many. I have the guitar set up with D’Addario 9’s. On the Triple Shot ring selector switches. When both switches on the ring are in the in position you are in standard humbucker series mode. When the are both in the outward position are in parallel humbucker mode. When both are switched rearward you are in P-90 mode. When they are both switched forward you are in the single coil rail mode.
