Lovely little Hofner 173 in a classy antique 2-tone burst with original hard shell case. I got this guitar from a friend who found it at a yard sale, so I don't know a ton about it. Seems very original to me (though I can't say for sure if anybody's messed with it). When I got the guitar it had sat for a while and was a bit neglected, but I've gotten it playing again so it's in need of a new home, and someone who will cherish it.

Not without flaws, the finish is checked and flaked in some areas and it has some minor fret-wear (see pictures). The output jack is a bit finicky and the middle tone pot is very hard to turn (it can be forced, but...) The 4-way switch and all of the pickups work, though the bridge is a bit quieter than the neck and middle. Includes vibrato arm, vibrato system works well. Case is missing handle.

If you are interested in owning this wonderfully German instrument from the 60s, I'm taking offers.
