1959/'60 Fender Stratocaster Old Olympic White Refinished:
* Serial number 45514 (late '59/early '60), 7.2-lbs, structurally sound, and fully functional professional, player-grade/stage instrument.
* Pickguard: Non-original (WD) pickguard. However, restored with original bridge & neck pickups, replaced middle position pickup w/original 70s vintage Fender; original tone potentiometers (pot), and replaced volume pot (volume now swells wider when tone controls are dialed in lower). Designed and restored to look and produce the entire spectrum of original, vintage Fender sounds and tones.
* Original Body: Non-original Olympic White finish (old professional refinish), dried out alder tone wood; original knobs, tremolo block/bridge assembly, tremolo backplate, jack cup, tremolo arm, and (ash tray) bridge cover.
* Original Neck: Very clean/no cosmetic issues, maple w/Brazilian rosewood slab fretboard w/clay dots, no stamped date or pencil marks on neck heel, 1960 "slim taper" neck profile w/stock frets. 0.790 1st fret/0.870 12th fret, gradual taper. Had Gotoh machine head tuners at one time; they were removed, holes on headstock professionally reworked so Strat again sports 1959 Fender Kluson tuners.
* Headstock: Fender '59 vintage Kluson tuners w/added string tree (oh well, it's what rockers did back in the day).
* Fender Case: Non-original case Dilapidated tweed case replaced with 70s vintage Fender black Tolex, orange lining, hard-shell. Very good condition and fully functional.
Outstanding, player-grade vintage Stratocaster with clear acoustic tones unplugged and brilliant-sounding, when plugged in. A great-looking (lots-o-stage presence), smoking (all the classic tones+), 1959 Fender guitar - ready to be taken out and played.
