I love A20's, and a a loom fixer in the cotton mill circa 1980 I couldn't afford one. I have had my guitar store since 1985, When covid hit 2020 business went through the roof, and I bought this on a whim, mainly because it clicked a lot of boxes- early no serial number (don't know if it was Yakima or Matsumoku made), really pronounced V neck, the best finish with a nice top, fixed bridge, no cracks breaks or repairs, brass inlays and flamey wood in the back as well! The control cavity and switch cavity plates are wood, pretty classy. I don't play it much, and have accumulated a lot of stuff, so like guitar players everywhere, time to let it go. There is some fret wear but doesn't effect playability any. It came in a bass case, and this is a hard one to find a case for, mainly because of the width, but found a blue tweed case, actually for a Mosrite that does really well, still a little long. The 2 volume controls are pull for a tap (I think it's a tap, I never used them). The pickups sound killer. It is the best one I have ever played, other than the one that ruined me as a kid 45 years ago, it was yellow I believe. I don't see these popping up much anymore, so here you go!
Thanks for looking!
