This vintage Les Paul Custom features a carved three-piece maple top, “sandwich” mahogany body, and a three-piece maple neck capped with a bound ebony fingerboard.

Weighing 10lbs 8oz, the tonewoods ensure plenty of natural punch and sustain, and the ebony fretboard yields glassy treble cut. All three pickup positions are distinct and full-sounding, and the T-Top humbuckers deliver growl and bold upper midrange aggression, while the neck pickup has ample oomph and a thick-yet-detailed quality. This Les Paul Custom has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The gloss Tobacco Sunburst nitro lacquer finish is framed by ambered multi-ply binding, with minor checking on the binding and body perimeter. There is one finish one chip on the treble-side cutaway, faint buckle wear central to the back, minor dings and finish scratches, and the expected patina on the gold plating consistent with use. The gloss on the neck profile is clean and smooth, free of palm wear with just a couple shallow marks.

The original Gibson-branded hardshell case is included and very clean, with functional latches, the original handle and Gibson silkscreen on the lid.
