Mapex Black Panther Design Lab Equinox Maple Snare Drum 14x5

The Equinox 14" Snare boasts a North American Maple shell and single-flanged hoops, evoking both classic musical traditions and modern expertise. This drum provides precise control for subtle ghost notes and delivers a bright and open sound at full volume. The hard all-Maple shell and reinforced edge rings elevate the frequency response, resulting in a crisp and clear tone that can cut through even the most crowded ensembles. With the patented SONIClear Bearing Edge, the drumhead sits flatter and makes better contact with the shell, resulting in a more defined fundamental pitch, effortless and consistent tuning, and a wider tuning range. The Design Lab Snares also feature Puresound Custom Series 16-Strand wires, evenly spaced and medium-gauged coils for a balanced sound. The Cylinder-Drive Strainer and Butt-End Adjuster utilize a self-lubricating bearing for smooth operation, and the "micro-lock" technology on the adjustment dial ensures precise control and prevents the tension from backing off.
