PRS DGT Standard 2012 - Seafoam Green

2012 PRS DGT Standard in seafoam green. A limited edition run of solid mahogany in Grissom's favourite colour. In full working order. Comes in original case with keys and case candy, Schaller strap locks and original PRS pins, and a PRS strap. Has a Tremel-No fitted.

This is widely agreed to be the best and most versatile PRS model, with pickups you cannot get in any other model - they are currently selling for over US$1000 each! With it's individual volume pots and unique partial splits, you can easily get legitimate tele, strat and full bore Les Paul tones. And, as Mick from That Pedal Show says 'in my opinion the best floating tremelo that exists'.

This is an absolute masterpiece of a guitar. Plays like a dream and has tone for days.

Google AI neatly sums it up -

'The PRS David Grissom Tremolo (DGT) is widely considered one of the best and most versatile models in the PRS lineup, often described as a "perfect" or "desert island" guitar due to its exceptional playability, unique vintage-voiced pickups, and superior tuning stability. It bridges the gap between classic vintage tones and modern performance, offering a superior, comfortable neck and versatile coil-splitting options. While other models like the Custom 24 or McCarty 594 might suit specific preferences, the DGT is often hailed as the best "all-rounder" by those looking for a versatile, boutique-quality instrument.'

I bought this from Willcutt Guitars in 2012. I lightly gigged with it and it is a dream to play - I got so many compliments on it and on the tones I got from it. It does have some naturally acquired relic-ing, of which I have photographed the most visible marks. Please note the case is in generally good to very good condition, with use from being used.

Regrettably I'm not playing it much these days and it's too good a guitar to be sat doing nothing. I want it to go to a good home where it will get used!

I'm unsure exactly what this is worth, given they so rarely come up for sale. Happy to negotiate... slightly :)

Happy to ship it anywhere at cost. I've put $150 but will only charge what it costs - I will refund any difference. Sold as seen.
