This is a remarkable amplifier. It is very clean and very bold. Big, fat, and juicy, bold with headroom to the sky. I've not heard another amp like it, outside of Two Rock. (I am selling to fund a Two Rock by the way.) It sounds remarkably good at its lowest volume. You can play quietly at home, or it can get very loud for live play, or anything in between. The cabinet is what I feel makes this amp magical. It produces such a full, acoustic low-end thump. In addition, the JS-12 speaker is THE speaker for this amp. Hands down. It was designed with this amplifier in mind, and it is a perfect match. Plenty of videos are available for demos.

This one is in a beautiful colorway. Another thing to note is that it was made by Joe Morgan before manufacturing was moved to another company. The components and the cabinet are better than current production, which is worth keeping in mind. I've had experience with the newer models as well. The filter caps have been upgraded, and the amp has been inspected and given a clean bill of health by my amp tech. This is a rock-solid amp.

Upgrades

  • High-end RCA cable for reverb tank
  • Studio Slips Padded Cover with Morgan Logo
  • New Tuki 9" padded reverb tank bag
  • 500 V F&T Filter Caps
  • Mogami 3028 Speaker Cable
  • Neutrik 1/4" plug
  • New Black Chicken Head Knobs
  • New Stainless Steel Cabinet Hardware
  • Eminence JS-12 Speaker with break-in performed by Midwest Speaker Repair

Condition

The amp is remarkably clean. The cover is brand new, never left the house. No hair, odors, or fingerprints. The speaker is about 6 months old. I purchased it from Midwest Speaker Repair, and they ran their break-in process on it before shipping.

Video

Mark Lettieri is playing a PR-12 in the attached video. This amp actually makes you play and sound just like him; it's magic. When you aren't playing through this amp, you just go back to being you. You can also find plenty of videos of Josh Smith playing this amp.

Math

Before hitting the make offer button and sending me an offer for $902.00, sit back and have a few drinks, then come back around midnight. I think you will realize this amp is easily worth the asking price. Re-read the upgrades. Think about what it would take to get this EXACT amp. It's possible, but exceedingly difficult, and you'd have to be patient to find it and then build it out. So... a brand-new PR-12 is listed at $2099. Let's say you find a nice sale or your rep gets you a little deal, you buy it new for what, $1,899? Butttttttt....its still not this one. Not even close. So, as I said, go have a few drinks, think it over, come back, and hit buy. Looking forward to shipping it to you.
